We invite you to stop by our Big Sit event!
Find us at the north end of Lost Valley Visitor Center. The Google Map will take you to Harts Road within Glacial Park, head west, then take the right turn at the Visitor Center sign.
Celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week and fall’s World Migratory Bird Day with birding’s most sedentary event, The Big Sit.
The Big Sit! is a free, annual, international birding event open to anyone, anywhere in the world.
The concept is simple: find a good spot for bird watching, sit in one spot for a designated time, and count all the bird species you see or hear.
We’ll have binoculars to lend you, or bring your own. Experienced birders will help you find and ID the birds we see and hear.
