The event is co-sponsored by Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge and the Nippersink Watershed Association (NWA). Join us for a primer about the ecological significance of the Nippersink Creek Watershed and steps being taken to protect it. This event is one of many celebrating “Its Our Fox River Day”. Nippersink Creek is a high quality tributary to the Fox River. The footprint of Hackmatack NWR is located totally within this important watershed of Illinois and Wisconsin. Merchant Creek is a tributary to Wonder Lake within the Nippersink Creek Watershed.
