Latino Conservation Week is celebrated every third week of July. This event strives to create an inclusive environment in the outdoors for our communidades. We invite you to participate with Friends of Hackmatack NWR by taking a hike on our bilingual self-guided interpretive trail at Turner Tract in Genoa City Wisconsin. Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge and our partner organizations invite you to join us on August 6th at this CdeC picnic. Conversación de Conservación (CdeC) is a collaboration between local conservation organizations and Latino community leaders and organizations who are interested in helping local Latinos connect with the many places, projects and opportunities in McHenry County related to conservation and the environment.
